DARDANELLE — Harvie Benjamin Gist, age 88 of Centerville, Arkansas died Friday, March 2, 2012, at his home. He was born July 20, 1923, in Centerville to Wylie and Frances Gist. He was a retired boiler operator and farmer. Harvey loved being at home with his family and playing in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maxine Gist.
Survivors include sons, Evert Gist and wife Elka and Dennis Gist and wife Brenda, all of Dardanelle, Arkansas; grandchildren, Stacey Thomason, Tim Gist, Mikia Moulder and Amanda Davis; great-grandchildren, Keiarra Gist, Rayanna Gist, Brooklyn Moulder, Isaac Davis, Maddy Davis, John Thomason, Dillan Thomason, Garrett Thomason, Zane Thomason and Amber Alverson; and many other relatives and friends.
