*Mary Ella Fleming, born January 1842, Lincoln County, North Carolina the daughter of Anderson Fleming and Sarah Barkley Fleming. Died December 29, 1934 in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Mary moved with her family to Gibson County, Tennessee where she grew up. She moved to White County, Arkansas with some of her family abt 1878 and married John Emison, Sr., on November 22, 1883, he was a widower with children. Mary never had children, but assisted in raising his younger children. He died and she married Thomas Vann on November 10, 1912.
