James "Jim" Rufus Ott, 47 of Cozumel Mexico went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2008.
He was born in Conway to Patricia Williams Ott and the late Robert L. Ott. He is survived by four children: Cathy Ann Ott of Rogers, AR, Andrew James Ott, Axel Robert Ott and Lily Anna Ott, all of Tulsa, Ok. He is also survived by a sister, Joanna Ott Rankin and husband Jim and a nephew Adam Harrison of Conway.
Mr. Ott was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Ott and a daughter, Emily "Emmie" Ott.
Mr. Ott lived every day of his life to the fullest. He loved playing music and played the drums and guitars his entire life. He loved to race motorcycles with his race team out of Houston, TX. In recent years he had a love for the ocean and you could always find him scuba diving.
He will be truly missed by his children, friends, family and co- workers. He had one of the biggest hearts in the world. He was a wonderful father, son, brother and uncle.
Family will receive visitors at 4625 Sawgrass Cove. Centennial Valley Subdivision in Conway.
Visitation: Thursday 5:30-7pm. at Four Winds Chapel on Prince Street, 5031 W. Prince St.
Funeral: Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Four Winds Church on Dave Ward Drive with Jim Bob Baker officiating. Burial will be Private.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you give to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
