Mary Goldie Ross, 83, of Ozark, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was born October 29, 1930.
Goldie was a loving mother, a member of Ozark Church of Christ and longtime owner and operator of The Owls Roost Café. She loved her work and her customers.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, James Ross, her parents Lester Sherman Harris and Anna Miranda Forbus and her siblings, Mildred Storts, Preston Harris and Lester Harris, Jr.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 18, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Brasseau officiating with private family burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
She is survived by her three daughters, Marillyn and Bob Dobbins of Fort Smith, Nancy and Mark Webb of Fort Smith, and Mary Beth and Otto Haberer of Ozark; five grandchildren, Bryan Dobbins, Leah Roy, Kyle Brashears, Frankie Howe and Whitney Boozer; nine great grandchildren, Ashley Dobbins, Aaron Dobbins, Amber Dobbins, Sarah Dobbins, Emily Dobbins, Tyler Dobbins, Ella Brashears, Jake Brashears and Shane Howe; two sisters, Loretta Yandell of Oregon and Melba Hursh of Washington; two brothers, Ray Harris and Dean Harris both of Missouri.
