Johnny Coleman "J.C." Duggins husband of Joyce (Pruitt) Duggins. Johnny Coleman "J.C." Duggins son of William Edd "Bill" and Lucy (McCracken) Duggins. Born in Flippin, Marion County, Arkansas and died Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

J. C. Duggins

J. C. Duggins, son of the late William Duggins and Lucy McCracken Duggins, was born February 18, 1930 in Flippin, Arkansas. He departed this life February 12, 2014 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was united in marriage to Joyce Pruitt on May 22, 1954 and to this union four children were born. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, he was employed by International Harvester, retiring after 20 years of employment. After retirement, he opened his own diesel mechanic shop.

He is survived by his wife: Joyce Duggins of the home; two sons and two daughters-in-law: John and Nancy Duggins of North Little Rock and David and Jennifer Duggins of Ft. Smith; two daughters and one son-in-law: Trena Holland of North Little Rock and Tammy Jo and Steve Kallhoff of Tilden, Nebraska; two sisters: Joann Bridgeman and Mary Ballard both of Mountain Home; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral service will be Saturday, Feburary 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Wayland Arbor Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.

Pallbearers: Wayne Phillips, Rex Pruitt, Darrell Gibson, Jeremy McDearmon, Johnny Duggins, Jason Townsend.

Honorary Pallbearers: Archie Duggins, Daniel Townsend and Kenny Bridgeman.
