Sherry Ann Dalby Whitten, age 47, of Delight died Saturday in an El Dorado hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born March 27, 1939 in Alby, Illinois, the daughter of Lyle and Gertrude Fugitt Dalby.
She was a nurse, member of the VFW Auxilliary, a member of the extension homemakers club, and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Louann, Ar.
Survivors include her husband, Elton Whitten of Delight; one son, Timothy Halbig of San Diego, Ca; a step-son, Jackie Whitten of Arlington, Tx; a step-daughter,
Judy Cottingham of Prescott; two brothers, Jim Dalby of Camden, Ar. and Gary Dalby of Paousbo, Washington.
