Edgar Leroy Pace, 64, Cave Springs, died Feb. 19 in the VA Hospital, Fayetteville. Born Feb. 16, 1911, at Lowell, he was the son of K. W. and Eva Owen Pace, a member of Cave Springs First Baptist Church and a farmer. He lived most of his life in Cave Springs, was a veteran of World War II and was awarded the Silver Star medal.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Taylor Pace of the home; one son, Thomas Edgar Pace, Cave Springs; three brothers, Everett Pace; Renton, Wash., Donald Pace, Bentonville, and Leon Pace, Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Fagala, Bentonville, Mrs. Ruby McPeak, Tujunga, Calif., and Mrs. Neva Wallace, Washington; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Cave Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. N. Farrish officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery under the direction of Callison-McKinney of Bentonville.
