BENTONVILLE — Joseph Fesler Jeffery, 84, of Bentonville, died Sept. 25, 1999, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Oct. 6, 1914, in Horton, Kan., to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jeffery. He moved to Northwest Arkansas from Kansas City, Kan., in 1965.
He was the office manager for Ralston Purina in Springdale and a farmer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 272 in Kansas City and of First Baptist Church in Horton.
Survivors include his wile, Ruby Stroer Jeffery to whom he was married June 16, 1950; four sons, Joseph Jeffery of Fayetteville, N.C., David Jeffery of St. Louis, Mo., Larry Jeffery of Las Vegas, NV and Bill King of Harrison, Tenn.; two daughters, Virginia Todd of Centerton and Carol Blackburn of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, George Jeffery of Horton; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Phillips Cemetery in Benton County under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
