Husband of Linda Elizabeth (Mize) Hoggard. Jerry the son of Jesse Columbus Hoggard and Maye (Mullen) Hoggard. Linda Elizabeth (Mize) Hoggard daughter of Leland Edward Mize and Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Mize.

Jerry Lee Hoggard, 50, of Strawberry, died Monday at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.

Born in Batesville, he was a lifetime resident of the Strawberry community, a farmer and a member of the Union Missionary Baptist Church near Calamine.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hoggard of the home; three daughters, Lisa Howard, Sandy Alls and Tracy Winters, all of Strawberry; four granddaughters; two stepgrandsons; and his parents, Jessie and Maye Mullen Hoggard of Strawberry.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Tommy Joe Hoggard.

Funeral services will be held at 3 Wednesday afternoon in the River Valley School Gym at Strawberry, with Keith Wilson officiating.

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery, under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Rex Williams, Vince Wright, Ray Dickson, Curt Howard, Ronnie Walling and Wendell Saffell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Ray Richey, Steve Taylor, Jerry Matheny, Donnie Hume, Bobby Hume and Leon Walling.

Visitation will be held from 5 this afternoon until 9 this evening at the funeral home.
