BETHANY, Okla. — Jewel Virginia "JV" Brunk Copeland of Bethany, Okla., and formerly of Cave Springs, Ark., passed away on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. JV was 95 years old, lived on her own at her own residence and passed away of natural causes.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Alice and Gene Stapleton; her son and his wife, Donald and Toni Copeland; her son and his wife, Joe and Taresa Copeland; her son-in-law, Leon Clements; her 12 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild-to-be; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and siblings, JV was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Walter; her daughter and her husband, Molly and Vie Unruh; her daughter, Gladys Clements; her daughter-in-law, Loretta Copeland; and her granddaughter-in-law, Tammy Unruh.
Funeral services for JV Copeland will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, 4911 W. Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers, Ark.
Viewing will be at the Church prior to the service. The Revs. Von Unruh, Kevin Clements and Lee Copeland will officiate. Burial will be at Phillips Cemetery in Cave springs.
