On Descriptive Roll of Prisoners, Arrested at Shipper's Landing, Miss., Feb. 15, 1864. Sent to Camp Chase, Ohio, March 25, 1864. Remarks: Deserted from Confed. Army. Gave himself up. Took Oath. Released by order Comsy. Gen. of Prisoners, dated April 17, 1864.
