Cecil Delph, 77, of Menifee died Tuesday (Dec. 18, 2007).

Born April 4, 1930, in Faulkner County, the son of the late Earnest and Parthina Fields Delph, he was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church, an avid farmer and worked at the 3M company in Little Rock for 38 years.


He is survived by his wife Bertha Delph of Menifee, six sons, Amos Calvin Delph of Morrilton, James Delph and Stevenson Delph of Conway, Ronald Delph of Little Rock, Waymon Delph of Kansas City, Mo. and Eric Delph of Menifee, five daughters, Olivia Fuller, Poletta Johnson and Carla Delph of Conway, Tracy Trezvant of Menifee, and Diana Byers of Cleveland, three brothers, Earnest Delph Jr. of Chicago, Ill. Homer Delph of Frisco, Texas and Robert Delph of Denver, Colo., one sister Mary Ausler of Denver, Colo. 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee, by the Rev. Dewayne Courtney.

Public viewing will be from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at Wilson and Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Conway, by Wilson and Jarrett Funeral Home of Morrilton.
