Christine Hickman Burson, age 85, of Stamps, Arkansas died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Magnolia Hospital in Magnolia, Arkansas. She was born March 18, 1922 in McNeil, Arkansas. Mrs. Burson was a homemaker and a member of the Non-Denominational Church in Haynesville, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Burson, six brothers, four sisters, and her parents, Will Hickman and Siclyn Grimmett Hickman.
She is survived by: a daughter, Mary Hayes of Bogota, TX; son, John David Burson of Hughes Springs, TX; sister, Dorothy Gray of Magnolia; Special Friend, Felta Smith of Hughes Springs, TX; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Rev. Tim Pruitt officiating and burial in Lakeside Cemetery
