Charles Henry Lawonn, 75, of Rogers died Wednesday, April 24, at St. Mary's Hospital.

He was born Nov. 14, 1915, at Hensel, N.D., to Charles Lawonn and Leah Bilyeu Lawonn. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. He moved to Rogers from Springfield, Ill., in 1974. He owned and operated his own automotive service business. He was a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors are his wife, Elinora; three daughters, Bonnie L. Hayes of Springfield, Ill., Ginger K. Easley of Rockaway, N.J., and Peggy A. Arnold of Rogers; a brother, Herbert A. Lawonn of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Helen McCarthy of Morton, Ill.; Georgene Long and Lorraine Stevens, both of Springfield, Ill., and Sandra Blood of St. Charles, Ill.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Solberg officiating. Burial is to be in Rogers Cemetery. Visitation is set for 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
