Harold D. Grisham, Sr., 79, of Austin died Friday, March 23, 2012. He was born April 23, 1932 in Holland, Arkansas to the late Lawson and Lillian Shaw Grisham. In addition to his parents, Mr. Grisham was preceded in death by an older brother, W. C. Grisham as well as a grandson, Joshua Grisham. Harold was a car salesman who loved to sell cars to his relatives and friends. He sold cars for Moore Ford in North Little Rock for 22 years, until his body wouldn’t let him beat that hot concrete any longer. Harold Loved to camp, mow the big lawn and get a good Rummy or Spades game going with his grandchildren. He liked to watch a good western movie, especially ones that starred John Wayne, James Stewart or almost any of the good old stars. His family all loved him greatly. He will be missed.
Harold married Dolores Voss in Hector in 1952. They were married for most of sixty years. They have four children, Harold D. Grisham, Jr., (Annette) of Cabot, Mark A. Grisham (Cindy) of Kansas City, Kansas, Brian E. Grisham (Anita) of Cabot and Jodie Grisham of Ward; 12 grandchildren, Courtney Reeves, Casey Morden, Deana Annette Grisham, Adelle Goodman, Jennifer Brown, Matthew Grisham, Desiree Grisham, Alec Grisham, Brian Austin Grisham, Josh McNerlin, Tyler Troutman and Haley Troutman.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Harold was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon), Cabot Ward, where his funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 with John Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in 16th Section Cemetery in Austin under the direction of Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home and Crematory (501)843-5816.
