Lillie Mae Champlin, 88 of Austin, died Saturday, August 17, 2013. Lillie Mae was born January 20, 1925 in Cabot to the late Tommy C. and Winifred G. (Sellers) Vann. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles W. Champlin, brother L.T. “Pete” Vann, and sisters Elsie Jones and Ethel Jewel Skinner.

Lillie Mae and her husband owned and operated their dairy and poultry farm until retirement. She is survived by son Nagel Champlin and wife Donna; daughter Patricia Brockinton and fiancé Frankie Cox; brother Faber Vann and wife Artie Faye; grandchildren Patricia Randall, Chuck Champlin, J.P. Brockinton, and Jesaca Duncan and husband Kyle; step-grandchildren Deanne Moore, Leanne Lynn, and Shane Sumler: great-grandchildren Tory Lee, Brett and Rylee Brockinton, Cooper and Lily Champlin, and
Alyssa and Shaifer Duncan; 9 step great-grandchildren; great great-grandson Bentley Weaver; 2 step great great-granddaughters; and special people in her life, loving caregivers Betty Simmons and Velda Strum. She will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.

Services:
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at Baugh Chapel Baptist Church, Austin. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will follow at 16th Section Cemetery, with Gary Griffin, Derrall Vann, David Vann, Aaron Grizzle, Rodger Crabb and Mark Crabb serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Vann and Everett Ray Skinner.
