Roy A. Looney, 80, of Charleston died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, in Fort Smith. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Potts Free Will Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Potts Cemetery, southeast of Charleston, under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.
He is survived by one daughter, Deanna Wilcox of Plano, Texas; three sisters, Reba Aldridge of Fort Smith, Ruby Womack of Charleston and Vera Lee Johnson of Merced, Calif.; one brother, Afton of Charleston; two grandchildren, Lance and Kimberly Enquist; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be James Hammond, Leroy, Brian and Bruce Womack, Bobby Neissl and Gary Looney.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
