Marcella Louise Forsyth Norton went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2009. She was born November 12, 1930, in Lincoln Park, Michigan. At a very young age, her family moved to Ward, Arkansas, where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Ward. She was a loving Christian woman who read the Bible daily. She was also an avid Razorback fan that never missed watching a game.
Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Norton; parents Oscar and Mary Forsyth; one sister, Margaret Jane Kirk; and son Jimmy Norton.
She is survived by a brother, Harold Forsyth (Nita); children, Johnny Norton (Linda), Kathy Krebes, Karen Bridges (Wesley), Jeff Norton and Karla Ramsey (Danny); grandchildren, Felicia Ramsey, Cristy Hutto, Chad Ramsey, Carrie Jo Harmon, Kristi Marr, Stephen Krebes, Diana Hendrich; and five great-grandchildren. Also, very special family friends Gina Hicks, Robbie and Christa Skinner and many more loving family and friends.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for their special care.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2009, at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Ward, with burial in Monk Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 571 Markham, Ward, AR 72176.
