Ronald Springer, 59, of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at his home.
He was born September 11, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Marshall R. and Doris Milam Springer. The family relocated to Brawley, California in 1955. Ronald attended Brawley elementary schools and was graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1968. He proudly served in the United States Navy for twenty-three years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He married Barbara Ann Bohannon in December 1974 in Hanford, California. This union was blessed with the birth of three sons, Ronald David Springer, Patrick Wayne Springer and Timothy Martin Springer. He most recently was the Procurement Officer for R.P.M. Realty Company of Little Rock, Arkansas. He was an active member of his church where he served as an usher and greeter and had a special passion for ministry to the elderly.
He was preceded in death by his parents..
Ronald is survived by his wife, Barbara of Meumelle, Arkansas; sons, Ronald David and wife Marcella of Caruthers, California, Patrick Wayne and wife Ellen of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Timothy Martin of Boston, Massachusetts; one brother Reverend Martin R. Springer and wife Janice of Hamel, Illinois; granddaughters, Alexis and Veronica Springer of Caruthers, California; cousins and many friends.
Memorial Services were held, with burial at the National Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The family was served by the North Little Rock Funeral Home, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
