Robert Dale "Bob" McCartney, 64, of Ozark died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in his home.
Son of the late George and Mahala Gossett McCartney, he was born Nov. 15, 1944, at Mountain Top. He was retired from GTE and was a member of Mountain Top Assembly of God and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by a brother, James McCartney.
Survivors include four brothers, Burl McCartney of Clarksville and Gurvis, Billy and Larry McCartney, all of Ozark.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery, with Rev. George Willis officiating. Burial was under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Pallbearers were Mike Donberger, Don Houston, Jimmy and Carl Rogers, Garland Williams and Dwight Stepp, active; and Lewis Vaughn, Ricky Foster and Earl Wyers
