PRAIRIE GROVE — Marvin Lee Dobbs, 84, of Prairie Grove died Nov. 8, 2005, at Fayetteville. He as born Aug. 19, 1921, at Odell to Charles Austin and Edna Cox Dobbs. He was a member of Prairie Oaks Missionary Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. He was a volunteer for more than 27 years at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 146 in Prairie Grove and the VFW.

Survivors include four sons, Jerry of Garfield, Daryl, Leon and J.C. all of Prairie Grove; three brothers, George Dobbs of Washington, Mitchell and Ray, both of Prairie Grove; one sister, Geneva Collins of Prairie Grove; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Oaks Missionary Baptist Church in Prairie Grove with Glen Faulkner and John Hooser officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery at Odell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prairie Oaks Baptist Church, P.O. Box 424, Prairie Grove, 72753.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bill Dobbs, Barry Dobbs, Brian Dobbs, Lee Dobbs, Travis Dobbs, Brandon Dobbs and Matthew Dobbs.

Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
