HOPE, Ark.Joe Henry Greene Jr., 61, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, March 8, 2009, in Texarkana.
Mr. Greene was born Aug. 6, 1947, in Washington, Ark. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
Survivors include one daughter, Brandi Jorette Greene of Texarkana; one son, Graham Greene of Texarkana; one stepdaughter, Michelle Dixon of Richardson, Texas; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Greene-Cohen of New York City; one brother, Charles Greene of San Diego; two stepgrandchildren, Tecorian Dixon and Tekayla Dixon of Richardson; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul CME Church, Washington, Ark., with the Rev. Johnnie B. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
