Mrs. Irene Donaldson, 57, Springdale died Feb. 4 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 10, 1920, at Lowell, she was the daughter of W.M. and Bessie Barnes Johnson. She was a member of Caudle Avenue Church, VFW Auxiliary and was head cook at Jones Elementary School.
Survivors include her husband, Everett W. Donaldson of the home; one son, Eddie Donaldson of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Sharlette Winn of Springdale; two stepsons, Jack Donaldson of Fairfax, Calif., and Morris Donaldson of Stockton, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Maurine Smith of San Bruno, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy McKnight of Santa Clara, Calif.; her mother of Springdale; one brother, Junior Johnson of Siloam Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Kenda Reed of West Monroe, La., Mrs. Olga Macon of Springdale and Mrs. Eufema Freeman of Cave Springs; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
