Hughey Plymale, son of Isaac, was a captain in the Union army during the Civil War.. He and his brother, Wilburn, and Sister Evaline Plymale Childers, went west to get rich. They stopped in Little Rock, AR, settled down and remained there the rest of their lives. They left Catlettsburg, KY, about 1873 and traveled by river to their destination. About the year 1882 he moved with his family to Franklin, Ark., locating at the place of what was known as Barnes post office where he resided until his death. Married Dulcina Adkins 19 Feb 1850 Eight children.
