Kilgore, Texas, Feb. 2 - Funeral for Ephriam C. Steed, 94 year-old Nevad (Ark) County native will be held Thursday morning. Turnertown Baptist Church. Burial Thursday afternoon at Chidester, Arkansas. A retired farmer, he died Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jack Gates. He had lived here 14 years. (Camden News - February 2, 1950)
