Mrs. Mary Felix Purifoy, aged 90, of Camden, widow of John L. Purifoy, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was born at Rosston, Nevada County, and was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Robert Purifoy and J. B. Purifoy, both of Rosston; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Purifoy of Chidester, and Mrs. Vol Eubanks of Springhill, La.; a sister, Mrs. L. A. Morgan of Stephens, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Rosston Baptist Church by Rev. Roy Sims and Rev. Ralph Cain. Burial was at Chidester Cemetery by Forbis Funeral Service. (Camden News - June 26, 1961)
