Betty Jane Giddings, 90, of Conway, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 21, 2012. She was born Sunday, March 5, 1922 in Hune Township, Illinois to the late Clarence And Marie (Scott) Russell.
Ms. Giddings was a spot welder for General Electric for 17 years and then worked for Kimberly Clark. She loved crafts, bowling, fishing, traveling and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Richard Gallentine and Steven Giddings; two brothers, Garnet Russell and Jimmy Russell; and two sisters, Patsy Fredricks and Doris Russell.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Penny Keefer and her husband Jerry of Conway; two sons, Earl Giddings of Rock Falls, Illinois and Charles Geyer and his wife Sharon of Aledo, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 6:00-8:00pm, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway (501)327-7727. Graveside service will be 1:00pm, Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the New Liberty Cemetery with Jack Shock officiating.
