Gladys Bell Frazier Smith, 93 of Fordyce, died Sunday, December 13, 2009. She was born February 27, 1916 in Kingsland, Arkansas to the late Cyril Julian Frazier and Rachel Lee McCoy Frazier. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She is also preceded in death by her husband T.P. Smith, son Elmer T. Smith, daughter Dianne Summerville, brothers Doyle and Harvey Frazier, sisters Christine Berryhill and Eunice Frazier, granddaughter Melani Smith, great grandson James H. Smith III, great granddaughter Maci Smith.
She is survived by three sons, Will J. Smith and wife Deanna of Malvern, Don R. Smith of Fordyce and wife Eileen of Warren, and James H. Smith and wife Jeanie of Fordyce; daughter Sue West of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers Henry Frazier of Hot Springs, Kenneth Lee Frazier of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Fay Thomas Frazier of California; 25 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Elder James H. Smith and Bro. Blair Olson officiating. Burial will be at Princeton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Tuesday 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
