Mrs. Elizabeth Gertrude Hedgecock, 81, 515 W. Center St., Springdale, died March 5 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 29, 1896, in Graves County, Tex., she was the daughter of William and Ada Berry Bowley. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God in Springdale, was a minister in the Pentecostal Church in Roswell, N.M., and did evangelistic work for 60 years. She moved to Springdale in 1961 from Albuquerque, N.M.
Survivors include her husband, Dale B. Hedgecock of the home; four sons, Felix Srader of Elkins, John Srader of Johnson, the Rev. R.R. Srader of Albuquerque and the Rev. Forrest Srader of Carlsbad, N.M.; two daughters, Mrs. Buster (Lillie) Longley of Elkins and Mrs. Clayton (Frances) Mason of Cave Springs; two brothers, Earl Bowley of Houston, Tex., and Marion Bowley of Cameron, Tex., four sisters, Mrs. Addie Fletcher of Arlington, Tex., Mrs. Myrtle Turner of Longview, Tex., Mrs. Lena Myers of El Cajon, Calif., and Annie Bowley of Houston; 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church of God. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under direction of Sisco Chapel.
