Daughter of Daniel Gober and Elizabeth Arendall Gober, she married Thomas W. Deener on November 25, 1848 in Fayette County, Tennessee. They were the parents of the following, all born in Tennessee:
(1) Tabitha Deener born Nov 1850, died young (she does not appear on the 1860 US census);
(2) Roland Gustavus Deener (1852-1917) married Jennie Elder
(3) Sarah Deener (1857-1881) married James W. Moore
(4) Emma D. Deemer born abt 1863 married David J. Burks
(5) one unknown child
