CONWAY — Theda Henson Howerton, 94, of Conway died April 6, 2004. She was born May 14, 1909, in Springdale to Perry Virgil "P.V." and Katie Youngmam Henson. She worked in food service for the Springdale school system and was a charter member of the Springdale Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of Harlan Park Baptist Church in Conway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Howerton.
Survivors include two sons, C.A. Howerton and wife Elaine and Joe Howerton and wife Pat, all of Conway; four grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Primeria Iglesia Bautista Church at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Pallbearers will be Steve Howerton, David Howerton, Scott Howerton, Mark Howerton, Ronnie Davis and Brad Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to Arkansas Baptist Children's Home in Monticello; Southern Christian Home in Morrilton or a favorite charity.
