Overview of an old cemetery locally regferred to as the "Graveyard Hole" located near Lake Chicot State Park, and situated on the river side of the levee.
There are only a handful of stones, very sparsely situated on a rather large plot of ground. Only one headstone found was intact, although it is broken from the base, and laying on the ground. There are indentions in the ground, indicating unmarked burials.
