Son of Frank and Viola Bowman
Edward J. Shray, 78, of Little Rock died June 27, 2011 at home.
He was born February 5, 1933, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania to Frank and Viola (Bowman) Shray.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gloria (Calhoun) Shray and one brother Robert Shray.
Survivors include one son Harold Shray, one daughter Nancy Shray, one sister Helen Knor and one brother Frank Shray.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Interstate Sign Co. and Dixie Equipment Co, of Little Rock.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, as well as an Air Force veteran and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 60 in Little Rock.
Visitation is 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Friday at Garth Funeral Home in Des Arc with Funeral services starting at 10:00 in the Garth Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial in the Welcome Home Cemetery in the Northside Community north of Des Arc. Rev. Dennis Mitchell officiating.

Gloria Faye Shray, 69, of Little Rock died Friday September 17, 2010 at Pleasant Valley Living Center in Little Rock.
She was born May 3, 1941 in Des Arc, Arkansas to Henry and Della (Hart) Calhoun.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Harold Calhoun. Survivors include her husband Edward J. Shray, one son Harold Shray, one daughter Nancy Shray, one brother David Calhoun, and one sister Lou Ann Grady.
Visitation is 6:00 P M until 8:00 P M Tuesday at Garth Funeral Home in Des Arc.
Funeral services are 2:00 P M Wednesday at Garth Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Welcome Home Cemetery in the Northside Community north of Des Arc. Rev. Dennis Mitchell officiating.
Pallbearers are Bill Calhoun, Jordan Calhouin, Jerry Grady, Jody Carter, Harold Shray, John Llewelyn.
