Carl Wayne West, 83, of Harrisburg, AR., died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Woodbriar Nursing Home.
Carl was born June 8, 1928, in Griffithville, Arkansas. He was the son of Jesse and Bessie (Rodabaugh) West.
He married Sadie Mae South on November 28, 1954, and they have enjoyed fifty-seven years together.
He graduated High School and took some college classes. Carl was of the Pentecostal Church and a retired Arkansas Power and Light Engineer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents and one daughter, Doris Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife, Sadie Mae of the home, one son, Kenny West, and one granddaughter, Aimee Wallace all of Harrisburg.
Graveside services were at Bolivar Cemetery.

Sadie West, 78, of Harrisburg, AR., departed this life Saturday, October 6, 2012, in Jonesboro, AR.
Mrs. West was born Jan. 13, 1934, at Colt.
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, Meredith and Maude South; her husband of 57 years, Carl West; a daughter, Doris Crawford; two brothers; and a sister.
She is survived by her son, Kenny West; brother, Jesse South; sisters, Artie Brown, Barbara Brake and Berniece Pace; and granddaughter, Aimee Wallace.
Graveside services were held at Bolivar Cemetery. Arrangments were by: Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.
