OBITUARIES

Funeral services for Porter Clyde Floyd, 85, of Crossett were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at North Crossett First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robin Allen officiating. Burial was in Pinewood Cemetery under the direction of Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home of Monticello.
He died Sunday at Ashley County Medical Center.
He was retired from Georgia-Pacific and was a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris McDonald Floyd of Crossett; one son, Michael Floyd of Dallas; one brother, John Floyd of Crossett; four sisters, Sula Boseman and Mabel Post, both of Altus, Reba Metz of Little Rock and Mary Thomas of Modesto, Calif.; and one grandson.
Pallbearers were Ervin Rodgers, Larry Linder, Larry Land, Johnny Upshaw, Lamar Hill, Denon Cagle, Herman Jackson and Jody Eubanks.
Honorary pallbearers were Terry Halley, James Brennon, Lee Denny, Joe Sasser, James Word and Jason Sasser.
