*Obituary
Frank Mills, 66, of Memphis, formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday at a Memphis hospital. Born and raised in Harrisburg, he moved to the Memphis area 36 years ago and was the plant manager for Memphis Shelby County school system. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Harrisburg First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Hammons Mills of the home; one son, Michael Mills of Memphis; two daughters, Anita Garey of Forest, Miss., and Sandra Buffaloe of Cordova, Tenn.; his mother, Mrs. Amy Mills of Harrisburg; one brother, Joe Mills of Weiner; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Friday afternoon in the chapel of Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Toombs officiating. Burial will follow in Bolivar Cemetery at Harrisburg.
Active pallbearers will be Terry Mills, Timmy Mills, William Bornhoft, Bobby Smith, Bill Dalton and Jewell Mann.
Honorary pallbearers will include Scotty Mills, William Brown, Bob Neal, Larry Miller, Wayne Hammons, Troy Hammons, Danny Hammons, Robert Spears, Joe Murphy and Ray Jensen.
Visitation will be from 5 this afternoon to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
