Martha Ann Douglass Channell, 89, of North Little Rock passed away peacefully Thursday, April 7, 2022 in her home after a brief battle with cancer. She was born June 24, 1932 in Ormstead, Arkansas to George and Ina Douglass.

She was a faithful follower of Christ and member of Levy Baptist Church.

Ann is survived by her children, Glenese Pettey (Jay), Julie Henry and Sheila Barron (Bobby); grandchildren, Julianne Dickerson (Joseph), Naomi Daigle (Simeon), Alexander Pettey (Victoria), Jerek Henry, Jena Beene (Bryan), Jace Henry (Kalyn) and Heath Barron (Erica); and her great-grandchildren, Skyler and Titus Daigle, Jada Young, Evan Beene, Tucker Henry, Drake Carden, Logan, Tenley and Caysen Barron; and her longtime family friend Milton Scallion. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert Channell; and her sister, Ophelia Prater.

Pallbearers include: Jerek Henry, Heath Barron, Jace Henry, Milton Scallion, Bobby Barron, Jay Pettey, and Alexander Pettey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church.

A visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2022, followed by funeral service at 10:00 a.m., at Levy Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery.
