Mrs. Thelma Burba, 81, 425 N. Frisco St., Springdale, died June 16 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 18, 1896, at Mayfield, Ky., she was the daughter of Edward Elias and Annie Covington Gay and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William R. "Bill" Burba of the home; three sons, Allen Burba, Buster Burba and Billy Joe Burba of Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Ada Lee) Benton and Mrs. Jim (Anna Lou) Lynch of Springdale; two brothers, Russell Gay and Edward Gay of Springdale; three sisters, Eunice Gay and Mrs. Pauline Baker of Springdale and Mrs. Mary Hannaford of Lake Bluff, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
