Donald G. (Duck) Bowlin, 46, 1413 Buena Vista Dr., Springdale, died Oct. 7 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 10, 1931, at Huntsville, he was the son of Harry and Ethel Speck Bowlin, a member of Elmdale Baptist Church and manager of Steele Canning Co. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and moved to Springdale in 1972 from Colorado Springs, Colo.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Bayley Bowlin of the home; one daughter, Pam Bowlin of the home; his parents of Springdale; three brothers, John W. Bowlin, Duncanville, Tex., Charles Bowlin, Seattle, Wash,, and James Bowlin, Springdale; and one sister, Mrs. W.D. (Betty) Warner, Baxter Springs, Kan.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.

SPRINGDALE — Mary M. Bayley Bowlin, 74, of Springdale died Oct. 10, 2005, at her home. She was born May 30, 1931, in Siloam Springs to W.J. and Eunice Beatrice Bayley. She was a member of Elmdale Baptist Church in Springdale and was a graduate of Springdale High School, where she played basketball. She worked in home health care for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gene Bowlin, on Oct. 7, 1977.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Bowlin-Glover and husband Bubba of Little Rock; two brothers, Lee Bayley of Big Sandy, Texas, and Curt Bayley of Hindsville; one stepgrandchild, Kristopher Glover-Shoffner.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Tom Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m today at the funeral home.
