HINDSVILLE — Sible Reba Jordan, age 87, of Hindsville, Ark., died May 19, 2012, at the Earlene Howard Hospice House in Springdale. She was born May 14, 1925, in Spring Valley, Ark., the daughter of Simon and Alta Morris Roles.
She was a homemaker and a member of Christian Home Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded by two husbands, Roy Bookout in 1968 and Raymond Jordan in 1997; two brothers, Jim Roles and Jesse Roles; and one sister, Dottie Thompson.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Shreve and her husband, Shay, of Springdale and Patricia Bennett and her husband, Charles, of Hindsville; two brothers, Jack Roles and Roy Roles, both of Springdale; five granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ellis Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be A.B. Burton, Lonnie Burton, Clifford Burton, Willard Anderson, Finis Watson and Buck Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Dean Morris, Doc Feagin and Ralph Bookout. Online condolences may be sent to www.memfuneral.com.
