HARRISBURG -- Lillian E. Hancock, 70, of Harrisburg died Tuesday, June 10, at Regional Medical Center at Memphis.
Born in Craighead County, she was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Hancock of Jonesboro and John Hancock of Harrisburg; three daughters, Peggy Lucas of Trumann, Rosemary Holman of Lamar and JoeAnne Matthews of Harrisburg; one brother, Charles Guest of Midland, Mich.; two sisters, Annie Medlan of Midlan and Callie Schmidt of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, Terry Lee Hancock, Christy Humble, Phillip Lee Hancock, Scott Qualls, Kimberly Lucas, Kelly Hatcher, Shelby Matthews and Christopher Holman; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hancock; one son, Reuben Lee Hancock; and her parents, Charlie and Esther M. Lawrence Guest.
Funeral services are set for Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Woodrow officiating. Burial will follow in Bolivar Cemetery.
The men of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
