Charles Edward Malcom, 65, of Mt. Vernon, went to be with the Lord, Monday, July 7, 2008.
He was born November 1, 1942 in Arkadelphia to the late Paul Malcom and Lillian Shepherd Malcom.
He is survived by his wife, Kaye Malcom of Mt. Vernon; daughter, Jennifer Hudspeth and husband Kirk of Conway; grandchildren, Noah, Leah and Jaden; 3 brothers, William Carroll Malcom, Jimmy Malcom and wife Brenda, Ricky Malcom; 5 sisters, Betty Harkness and husband Lonnie, Joyce Heritage and husband Ray, Geanetta Banks and husband Arnold, Kathy Reynolds and her late husband Terry, Debbie Wade and her late husband Neil all of Arkadelphia; and numerous other family member and friends.
He was a member of Smyrna Community Church and a retired member of Boilermaker Local 69.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Oliver Cemetery in Mt. Vernon with Rev’s Kirk Hudspeth, Gary Elliott and Tom Collie officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway.
