Veotta Loyd Nolen, 83 of Mt. Vernon died Monday May 31, 2010. She was born September 10, 1926 in Vilonia, Arkansas to the late Jim Loyd and Delia Stell Loyd.
She was the widow of Jessie Booth Nolen, a homemaker and attended Sharon Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Jimmy Nolen of Mt. Vernon, three brothers, Wendel Loyd and Eura Mae of Conway, Leon Loyd and Vera of Vilonia and Calvin Loyd and Thelma of Vilonia, sister-in-law Pat Loyd and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Delia Stell Loyd, husband, Jessie Booth Nolen and a brother J. D. Loyd.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in the chapel of Roller McNutt Funeral Home Conway with burial in Oliver Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers are Gary Loyd, David Loyd, Max Loyd, Chuck Loyd, Bobby Loyd and Mike Loyd.
