Charles Lee Hottinger age 70 of Ola, AR died Tuesday, August 1, 2000 at Arkansas Heart Hospital at Little Rock, AR. He was born October 23, 1929 at Dover, AR the son of the late Jess and Lula McClain Hottinger. He was a mail contractor, an Air Force veteran and a member of Fisher-Law Post 8525 of Veterans of Foreign Wars at Plainview and Star Route Mail Carriers Association. He was past president of the Ola Chamber of Commerce, a retired Ola volunteer fireman and sponsored the Hottinger U. S. Mail Contractors girls slow-pitch softball team for eight years.
Survivors include his wife, Vanna Littleton Hottinger; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kim Hottinger of Ozark, AR; a daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Ray Buford of Ola, AR; a sister, Peggy Hottinger of Ola and seven grandchildren, Heather & Savannah Hottinger of Jonesboro, AR; Lindsey, Kayla and Karly Hottinger of Ozark, AR and Laura and Charley Buford of Ola, AR.
Graveside service was Friday at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville. Burial by Cornwell Funeral Service of Dardanelle, AR.
