SPRINGDALE — Petra Gail Skarsten, 54, of Springdale died Oct. 23,1999, at her home. She was born March 12, 1945, in Tullahoma, Tenn., to James Edward and Nellie Spry Tucker She was a beautician in California and in Arkansas and an insurance adjuster for Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League in California.
Survivors include her husband, Ted Skarsten of the home, to whom she was married April 19, 1969; two sons, Erik Skarsten of Fayetteville and Jason Skarsten of Springdale; one daughter, Kristie Skarston of Springdale; two brothers, David Tucker and Charles Tucker, both of Springdale.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Gehlar and the Rev Roy Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel of Springdale.
Visitation begins at noon today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Erik Skarsten, David Tucker, Dean Tucker, Michael McNicol, Bill Turnbough and Roy Lee Huddleston.
