Mary Jean Dukes 55 of Conway, departed this life Sunday November 12, 2006. She
Born to the late James H. Dukes and Faye Dukes April 30, 1951. She united with the
Salem Baptist Church at an early age and attended Pine Street High School and
graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City, MO. Mary continued her education
at AM & N College (UAPB) in Pine Bluff with a bachelor's degree in Education. She
was a retired educator in Kansas City Missouri School District.
She leaves to cherish her memory Six sisters, Thelma Dukes and Helen Dillard of
Conway; Erma Dukes, Shirley Dukes and Janice Dukes all of Kansas City, MO; Brenda
Mance of Honolulu Hawaii. Two brothers, James Dukes of Kansas City, MO; and Ray
Dukes of Mesquite, TX. A host of Nieces , nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at United Missionary Baptist Church.
Interment United Baptist Cemetery. Visitation Friday 6-7pm Larry G. Acklin Funeral
Home, Conway.
