Services are at 11:00 Monday June 20 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, Saffell, Ark with Rev Larry Pound officiating.

Burial is in Lancaster Cemetery, Strawberry, Ark.

Visitation is 4-7 Friday at Sullivan -Phillips Mortuary, East Moline. and 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Willis Hayes Funeral Home , Batesville, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

She was born Aug. 23, 1944 , daughter of Lewis and Viva (Eagan) Smith. She married G. H. Doyle Mar. 3. 1965 in Moline.

She worked for John Deere in the clerical department for 25 1/2 years until May 27, 2005
She was a member of American Business woman's Association, past president of the Paddle Wheel Chapter and was active in volunteer work.

Survivors (and Spouses include her husband G. H. Doyle, East Moline, son Derek Doyle. Moline, sister's Bobbie (Jack) Neal, Cord, Ark. Barbara (James) Dye , Hensley, Ark. 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles.

EAST MOLINE, Ill. - Linda S. Doyle, 60, of East Moline, Ill., died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, in a Rock Island hospital.

Born Aug. 23, 1944, in Saffell, she was the daughter of Lewis and Viva Eagan Smith. She married G.H. Doyle on March 3, 1965, in Moline, Ill. She worked for John Deere in the clerical department for over 25 years until May 27. She was a member of American Business Woman's Association, past president of the Paddle Wheel Chapter and was active in volunteer work.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Derek Doyle of Moline; two sisters, Bobbie Neal of Cord and Barbara Dye of Hensley; two nephews; and four nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Charles Smith.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. June 20 at Mount Harmony Baptist Church in Saffell with the Rev. Larry Pound officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry under the direction of Willis-Hays Funeral Service in Batesville.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Sullivan-Phillips Mortuary Limited in East Moline and from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Willis-Hays Funeral Service in Batesville.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
