SPRINGDALE — Glen Keith Kirkland, 68, of Springdale died May 23, 2006. He was born June 10, 1937. in Oklahoma to Donovan Dewitt and Jewell Webb Kirklard. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Elm Springs and was an Air Force veteran. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and reading. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae "Chee Chee" Kirkland, in December 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Barry Keith Kirkland and wife Sherry of Springdale and Roy Dewitt Kirkland and wife Loretta of Springdale; one brother, Theo Kirkland of Springdale; two sisters, Polly Martin and Neva Jo Newman, both of Phoenix; five grand-children.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Carl Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Bennett, Troy Thompkins, Billy Thompson, Luke Thomas, David Thomas, Jim Kirkland, Jeff Marts and Tony Brown.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
