Richard William Thomasson, age 80, of Perryville, passed away, Saturday, January 22, 2011. He was born November 14, 1930 in Binger, Oklahoma; a son of John Lee Jackson Thomasson and Violet Fair Thomasson. He was a Navy veteran and member of Temple Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Thomasson retired as a supervisor with GTE Telephone.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Abel Thomasson of Perryville; sons, Rick Thomasson and wife Deana of Little Rock; Mike Thomasson and wife Susie of Austin; daughters, Brenda Rine and husband Al of Panama City, Florida; Christine Batchelor and husband David of Carlisle; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, at Temple Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 24th at the funeral home in Perryville.
