Leo Joe Neumeier, 64, of Russellville, formerly of Paris, died Thursday, June 26, 1997, in Russellville. He was a Catholic.
He was owner/operator of Paradise Donut Shop in Russellville, a Korean War veteran, and a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. in Russellville.
Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, June 27 at Roller Chapel in Paris.
Funeral mass was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paris, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
Survivors include: his wife, Betty Thomas Neumeier of Russellville; four daughters, Cindy Neumeier of Tonopah, NV, Sheryl Neumeier of Russellville, Carole Forsythe of Reno, NV and Joanne Pearson of Ft. Smith; four sons, Leo Neumeier, Jr. of Branson, MO, Alan, Kenneth and Michael of Russellville; his mother, Irene Neumeier of Paris; four sisters, Molly Forst of Magazine, Linda Johnson and Marilyn Weatherton, both of Beresford, SD and Phyllis Lensing of Sand Springs, OK; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
